In 1911, living in House number 1 were Mary Mc Manmon, aged 74 and a widow who had been married for 58 years and had 6 children, 5 of which were still alive. Living with her were her son Peter aged 35 and a farmer, his wife Sarah aged 29, who had been married for 3 years and had had 2 children, both of whom were still alive. The children were John Patrick aged 1 and Mary, under one year. Also in the house were James Groves aged 24, a single farm servant and Margaret Chambers aged 10 , a visitor.


In 1901, living in House number 1 were John Mc Manmon, aged 75, his wife Mary aged 62 and their two sons Frank aged 38 who was married and Peter aged 26 and single. Also in the house was Bridget Moran aged 20 and single, John's grand daughter, Michael Chambers a farm servant who was single and whose age was not given, John Chambers aged 25, his nephew who was single and a cattle dealer and his brother in law John Chambers aged 60 and married.

On October 7th 1908 Peter McManamon aged 34 a bachelor and farmer of Newport was married to Sarah Cunningham aged 27, a spinster of Newport, in the Roman Catholic Church of Newport by John J. Corcoran C.C.. Witnesses were John Joyce and Delia Gibbons. Peter s father was John McManamon, a farmer, and Sarah s was Patrick Cunningham, a farmer.


Sarah McManamon was born on the 27th September 1917 at Teevemore, Newport. Her father was Peter McManamon, a farmer and her mother Sarah McManamon formerly Cunningham.


Patrick McManamon was born on the 2nd September 1916 at Teevemore, Newport. His father was Peter McManamon, a farmer and his mother Sarah McManamon formerly Cunningham.
