The occupant of this land in 1857 was Thomas O'Boyle; 1877, Mary Anne O'Boyle and 1884 Thomas O'Boyle. In 1899 a house was built on the land and the occupant was Honor Cusack; 1917, John Cusack; 1936, Patrick Cusack; 1956, James Lunn and 1967 Michael Sheridan.

This was house number 4 in the 1901 Census in which lived Honor Cusack, aged 56 who was a widow and her two sons John aged 27 and Thomas aged 23 and her daughter Maria aged 17, none of whom were married.


John Cusack, a farmer aged 33 of Bleachyard, Newport was married to Mary Lavelle of Skirdagh, Newport in the Roman Catholic Church of Newport on 11th February 1908 by Canon Grealy.
